Scope of Experience

Jeffrey A. Conn has been active in the real estate industry since 1972. He is a cofounder of Hallmark Partners, formed in 1993, and actively involved in NAI Hallmark. Mr. Conn is directly responsible for all aspects of the company’s business including development, leasing and property management.

Background & Experience

Mr. Conn was first employed for sixteen years with Alliance Mortgage Company, a Florida-based, statewide mortgage banking firm. During his tenure, he spent the first twelve years in South Florida focusing on new loan originations and the subsequent remaining four years directing the company’s commercial production division headquartered in Jacksonville. In his current capacity as Principal, he focuses primarily with the retail leasing and development activities of the company, as well as the administrative responsibilities required of a principal. He has overseen the development of seven grocery-anchored shopping centers totaling 525,000 square feet with an aggregate value of over $90,000,000. Each of the construction loans for these properties was paid off in full and on time. Six of the properties have subsequently been sold to Life Insurance companies or Real Estate Investment Trusts.

Education

Mr. Conn is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Florida. He earned a B. S degree in Marketing from Tri-State University in Angoloa, Indiana.

Professional Associations & Designations

Mr. Conn is a past President of the NAIOP - Northeast Florida and sat on its Board of Directors for a number of years. He is also a member of ICSC. As well, he is a member of the Advisory Board for the Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville having served as Chairman of the Executive Committee in 2013-2014. Mr. Conn sits on the Board of Directors of Dreams Come True, a local non-profit focusing on granting dreams to children with life threatening illnesses.
